hey,
hitting day 98 feels kinda surreal. i’m so close to 100 days of building, and part of me feels like i haven’t done enough. but i’m realising that learning, experimenting, and adjusting direction matters just as much as shipping fast.
although this week was still pretty quiet, i spent the weekend working on drinkie and now drinkie is basically feature-complete. i’ve added the final touches, and i’m just waiting on a friend to help with the drip collectable art since pixel art really isn’t my strength. once that’s ready, i’ll start my journey to publishing it to app store.
one fun moment: a friend really wanted to try drinkie, so i installed it directly onto her phone from my laptop. she’s been using it and said it’s actually really cool - that meant a lot. seeing someone else interact with something i built just made it feel way more real.
for mathhacks, i’ve been digging into the tech i want to use. it’s going to stretch me: docker, maybe supabase, building something that doesn’t just show content but actually runs user code across different languages. it feels like a real step up - a project that forces me to grow.
there’s also a new b2b idea floating around in my head, and i’m debating whether that should come before mathhacks. but honestly, i’m reminding myself: finish one thing, build momentum, then move forward. so as long as i start an idea, i need to stick with it until it’s properly shipped.
even if the first 100 days felt slow at times, i’m moving in the right direction. i’m becoming the kind of builder who finishes things - and that’s what really counts.
thanks for following along,
vulcan
