hey,
it’s been two weeks since the last update, and these ones have been packed. after spending the last couple of weeks building, i finally soft-launched mathhacks - a platform where every weekend, people join short “mathathons” to build projects that explore maths concepts.
it’s something i’ve been wanting to create for a while, and now it’s finally out there. the first mathathon starts in two weeks, but people can already pre-join to get updates. seeing the platform go from idea → build → launch has been really satisfying - and now the next goal is simple: 20 signups, and at least half of them shipping by the end of the event.
beyond that, i’ve been thinking about where i want to head next. i’ve decided i want to get into ios development. i’ve got a two-week holiday coming up, and i want to use it properly - finishing up math-hacks, running the first mathathon, and then starting to build a study app as my first ios project.
my holiday goals are pretty clear:
– get the first mathathon done (20 signups, 50% ship rate)
– finish mathhacks fully
– do a small 1–3 day online hackathon for more experience (and maybe some prize money)
– start the ios app
it feels like a natural shift - from just web to mobile - and a good way to make the most of my time off. this holiday’s all about using the momentum i’ve built and turning it into real progress.
thanks for following along,
vulcan
